This ritual smoke wand can either be burned for ritual purification of your sacred space or used as a decorative altar piece. It is made with alternative herbs to sage and palo santo, both of which are on the critical list for endangerment. As sage and palo santo are integral to native spiritual ceremonies, it is the duty of those outside of their traditions to make use of the multitude of other purification herbs for our rituals.

Honey Myrtle/Myrtle - a symbol of love and an emblem of marriage, a flower of the gods, Fertility, Youth, Peace, Money, Water Magic, Sacred to Venus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hathor, Astarte, Ashtoreth, Marian

Rose - engenders self-love, brings luck, aids grief, heals heart, connects w goddess, makes magick more powerful

Tamarisk (aka saltcedar) - Tamarisk trees commonly lined ancient Egyptian temple gardens.   Tamarisk (as an herb) may be used in as an ingredient or substitute for magick spells and formulas related to Saturn matters (endings, exorcism, longevity, protection, purification, and vision).

Statice flower - symbolizes fond memories, success, and sympathy. Suitable for a wide range of celebrations as well as considered an herb useful in treating respiratory illnesses

Anemones - protection against evil and ill wishes, the arrival of first spring winds, protection against illness, anticipation and excitement for future endeavors

Dahlia - grace under pressure, inner strength, major life changes, kindness, balance, commitment, can be used as a warning of betrayal

Matsumoto Aster - native to Eastern Asia; categorized under the genus Callistephus, which comes from the Greek word that means “beautiful crown”.  When burnt, the odor emitted by the asters is known to ward off serpents.  Purple asters symbolize wisdom and royalty and are the most popular color.  Asters in general bring love, daintiness, variety, and elegance to any magickal spell.
